We have three wider testing programs that include reading comprehension as a skill. These programs each have their own purpose:

How our reading tests look
Our reading tests are made up of multiple-choice questions that around 40 to 50 minutes to finish.

The tests can be delivered online (through the exact same system as NAPLAN), or on paper – whichever you prefer.

All subjects and skills we assess
Test students’ core writing skills, including their vocabulary, punctuation, structure and more.
Assess students’ ability to read bodies of text, which they’ll analyse, evaluate and use other important reading skills.
Gauge students’ spelling skills with words that vary widely in difficulty, based on year level.

Our reading test prices are determined by the type of test (e.g. progress and placement) , numbers of required tests and the services you need.

We don’t sell or run single reading tests. Our tests are part of our wider testing programs which also include numeracy and reasoning-based tests.
These wider test programs are:
- Progress and placement testing – tracking student growth and progress over time.
- Scholarship testing – identifying high-performing students for your scholarship program
- Gifted student ability measure test – finding gifted students for your enrichment programs.
If these testing programs don’t suit your school’s unique needs, we may be able to customise a program for you. Please get in touch and we’ll discuss your requirements.
Our reading tests are between 40-50 minutes in length depending on year level.
The tests are held across 2 sessions with a 20-minute recess break between each.
The reading tests can be arranged for a date that suits your school’s needs.
We score the tests, validate the scoring, and produce the reports within 10 working days. Reports are both electronic (on our reporting system), and can also be send as a hard copy if required.
Our reading tests are strictly confidential and not able to be bought individually. We also refresh the assessments annually, so students are extremely unlikely to have taken our tests before.
Our reading tests have been designed with the same scale as NAPLAN, which allows you to import NAPLAN data to see unbroken year-on-year progress for students.
